how points are awarded
As well as points for finishing positions, drivers are awarded 2 points for each car they pass in the Heats, B Main and Feature i.e. a driver starting a Heat from grid 5 and finishing the race in 1st place is awarded 98 points in total, 90 points for the win and 8 points for passing four cars.

In the B Main Finishing Points aren't awarded to the first eight placegetters as the top eight transfer to the Feature where they earn points.

  • DNF cars are awarded points as they drop out i.e. in a sixteen car field the first car to drop out gets 24 points for 16th place, the next car to drop out gets 27 points for 15th place etc
  • DNS cars failing to cross the start line in their starting grid positions at the start of a race are deemed non starters and don't receive points
